“Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.”

The highly anticipated trailers for The Witcher are finally here!! The first thing I noticed is that Henry Cavill, who takes on the lead role of Geralt of Rivia, got absolutely huge for this role! Also, this new series from Netflix looks pretty damn good. Check out the official trailers below!!

Ted Takes Fun Facts, The Witcher:

  • An adaptation of the books, not the video games. In fact, showrunner Lauren Schmidt revealed in an interview that the show will never adapt the video games.

  • Even before his first meeting with the role, Henry Cavill had already played all the Witcher games and read all the Witcher novels. So when it came to finally making the series, Cavill was already well-versed in the lore and deeply aware of the story and his character.
