Strange Darling

Strange Darling is a 2023 horror thriller film written and directed by JT Mollner, from the producer of Barbarian & Late Night with the Devil. The film was shot entirely on 35mm film by director of photography actor Giovanni Ribisi.

Nothing is what it seems when a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer’s vicious murder spree.

The cast includes Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Barbara Hershey, Ed Begley Jr., Giovanni Ribisi, Madisen Beaty, Bianca Santos, and Steven Michael Quezada.

The Crow

THE CROW is a 2024 action crime thriller film directed by James Sanders, from a screenplay by Zach Baylin and William Josef Schneider, based on a graphic novel from James O’Barr. The film is a remake of the iconic and controversial 1994 film which tragically claimed the life of actor Brandon Lee, the son of legendary actor and Martial Artist Bruce Lee, due to an on-set incident. Needless to say conspiracy theorists had a field day talking about what “really” happened that fateful day, but the only thing we know for sure is that movie took the life of Brandon Lee.

Soulmates Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

The cast includes Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Isabella Wei, and David Bowles.

Blink Twice

Blink Twice is a 2024 psychological black comedy thriller film directed by Zoë Kravitz, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay she co-wrote with E.T. Feigenbaum. Kravitz began writing the screenplay under the original working title Pussy Island in 2017.

When tech billionaire Slater King meets Frida, he invites her to join him and his friends for a dream vacation on his private island. However, as strange things start to happen, she'll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out alive.

The cast includes Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan, Alia Shawkat, Christian Slater, and Geena Davis.

The Killer

THE KILLER is a 2024 action thriller film directed by John Woo. It is a remake of Woo's 1989 film.

When a feared contract killer refuses to murder a young blind woman on the orders of her handler, she finds herself hunted by old colleagues and a determined detective.

The cast includes Nathalie Emmanuel, Omar Sy, Sam Worthington, Diana Silvers, Eric Cantona, Saïd Taghmaoui.

Ahsoka

Ahsoka is an upcoming American limited series developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for Disney+. It is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from the series The Mandalorian, taking place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), while also serving as a continuation to the animated series Star Wars Rebels. The series follows Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy following the fall of the Empire.

Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano, reprising her role from The Mandalorian. The character was created for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (voiced by Ashley Eckstein) and made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian. A spin-off series focused on the character was announced in December 2020, with Dawson reprising her role and Filoni set as a writer after he co-created the character. Filming began in early May 2022, with multiple characters from Rebels revealed to be appearing. In April 2023, additional castings were revealed, highlighted by Lars Mikkelsen reprising his Rebels role of Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the series was confirmed to be continuing the story established in Rebels.

Ahsoka is scheduled to be released on Disney+ with two episodes on August 23, 2023, and will consist of eight episodes. Watch the official trailer below.

Personally I love the show, it is simply extremely addicting and will suck you in episode after episode - and let me just say that the trailer for season 3 gave me chills. • Christian Navarro (Tony) had to learn to drive and get his license before filming started to be able to drive the red Ford Mustang seen in the series.
