On Friday the 13th, November 13th to be more specific, Blumhouse will drop its latest horror thriller, Freaky, telling the story of a teenage girl who swaps bodies with a crazed serial killer.
Seventeen-year-old Millie Kessler is just trying to survive the never-ending nightmare that is the halls of Blissfield High and the cruelty of the popular crowd. But when she becomes the newest target of The Butcher, her town’s infamous serial killer, her senior year becomes the least of her worries.
Writer/director Christopher Landon is the man behind the film, and previously delivered to us Happy Death Day, as well as a few films in the Paranormal Activity franchise. Landon has a knack for horror comedy, and it seems he may have hit the nail on the head yet again.
Freaky stars Kathryn Newton (Blockers, HBO’s Big Little Lies), Vince Vaughn, and Alan Ruck (HBO’s Succession), and is sure to satisfy fans of the Happy Death Day Films. Watch the trailer below.
