From director Scott Speer, Midnight Sun is a drama romance based on the Japanese film of the same name that released in 2006. The film is about a 17-year old girl who has been sheltered and confined to her home basically her entire life due to a rare disease that makes even the slightest exposure to sunlight life-threatening. Her life changes when she meets Charlie and the two develop a special relationship that refuses to be held back by her disease.
