From director Todd Haynes, Wonderstruck is a drama mystery based on the book by Brian Selznick. The film is receiving a great deal of early release critic praise so I look forward to checking this one out for myself. The newly released teaser trailer is very promising as well! - Todd Haynes announced his plans to adapt the novel after the success of Carol (2015).
- The film reunites director Todd Haynes with Julianne Moore. This is their fourth collaboration after Safe (1995), Far from Heaven (2002), and I'm Not There. (2007). Moore's performance in "Far from Heaven" earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
